OnePlus 13 is reportedly to launch sooner than expected, as we could see the debut happening as early as October.

When it comes to unveiling its flagship phones, OnePlus usually opts for the start of each year, but that seems to have changed with the OnePlus 12, which came out in China in December last year. The tech community has its eyes on the next model, which is expected to go for an even earlier launch window. Leaks now claim the release of the OnePlus 13 will happen sooner than expected in China.

With OnePlus gearing up to launch its next flagship model, the rumor mill seems to be churning in full swing about what the new model would entail and when the debut would most likely happen. Earlier reports have suggested the company would bring ultrasonic fingerprint sensors and potentially pivot in a different direction when it comes to design. Now, according to a new leak, the OnePlus 13 might be unveiled as early as October.

According to Digital Chat Station, OnePlus plans to launch its OnePlus 13 in China in October-November, the same time the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset will be released. Given its previous pattern, OnePlus might be the first one to incorporate the chip for its flagship phones.

At the moment, we have sparse information on the global launch of the OnePlus 13, but speculations have given away quite a few details on what the device would be packed with. OnePlus is a name well known for the charging speed and power it offers for the premium devices and with the OnePlus 13 coming out soon, the company is planning to bring faster charging speed and battery that goes up to 6,000mAh. The battery would be able to handle 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.

OnePlus is also reportedly stepping away from the classic design for the new model by getting rid of the family-style hinge and opting for a sleeker and visually appealing look. There are also talks of the OnePlus 13 going for an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor over the optical under-display fingerprint sensor and improving the experience, especially in low-light conditions. We see this switch extend to a broader trend as Xiaomi is also reportedly moving to this advanced technology for its upcoming devices to make the scanning experience more seamless.

OnePlus is also expected to feature a triple camera layout and sport an IP68 rating. With the news that the OnePlus 13 will be one of the first devices to debut with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC, we are excited to see what other upgrades the new device will offer. We have yet to hear any official confirmation, but from what we have heard, the OnePlus 13 might be coming soon.
