The Red Magic Nova is launched globally after its debut in China as the Red Magic Gaming Tablet Pro. The device is based on the overclocked Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset with a 3.4GHz octa-core CPU and a 1GHz Adreno 750 GPU. You can choose from 12GB and 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB and 512GB of built-in UFS 4.0 storage. The chipset is aided by nubia's 9-layer ICE 2.0 PAD cooling system that employs a 3D heat pipe, a high-speed centrifugal fan, and a 3D internal circulation air duct, 29400mm² under-screen heat dissipation alloy, 9268mm² superconducting copper foil, 89114mm² integrated aviation aluminum body, and thermal conductive gel. The model's performance also relies on the CUBE AI performance scheduling engine that runs at full frame enabling you to handle easily large-scale games without overheating and with excellent power efficiency. A 10100 mAh battery keeps the lights on supporting 120W fast charging.
The Red Magic Nova is built around a 10.9 inch display with a 2.8K resolution of 2880 x 1800 px. It has a 144Hz refresh rate and an 840Hz instantaneous touch sampling rate. Further, the screen is SGS Low Blue Light Certified. The immersive experience is aided by the four-channel stereo speakers with DTS: X Ultra surround sound. The tablet is equipped with a 50MP rear shooter and a 20MP selfie camera. It also has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a USB Type-C port, and supports Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi 7, and NFC. The device runs on RedMagic OS 9.5 based on Android 14.
The Red Magic Nova has a beautiful design that incorporates both elegance and gaming features. Available in Deuterium Dark Night and Deuterium Silver Wing colors, the slate has a unibody rear shell made of oxidized aluminum-alloy and crafted by using the precise CNC process. There's a thick strip on the back as a secondary display that shows customizable RGB LED lights that can be synced with the content on the display. This area is covered by a highly transparent and wear-resistant aluminosilicate glass. The entire rear shell has an anti-scratch and anti-fingerprint coating. All frame edges have a 45-degree chamfer for improved handling.
