Both watches are designed for different use cases, so it will totally depend on your daily lifestyle.

Galaxy Watch Ultra at the Unpacked event in July 2024. While the Watch 7 is the successor to the Watch 6, the Watch Ultra is in the new premium category and is by far the most expensive of Samsung's wearable products. It's a shame for fans who have been waiting for the new classic model, but the old one should be available for a while.

Although both watches are designed for different target groups, they have some common features. The Galaxy Watch 6 is one of the best watches made by Samsung, and there's no doubt that the Watch 7 will be next on this list. The Galaxy Watch Ultra is of an entirely different caliber, designed for extreme sports, but I suspect some of its features might appeal to the average user as well.

Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra vs Galaxy Watch 7: Design
The most noticeable difference between the two watches is the design itself. The Galaxy Watch Ultra has a large circular display with a frame made from grade 4 titanium. Robustness. There are additional metal pads on the corners of the frame, giving the Ultra a more squared-off look. It comes in just one size, 47mm, and titanium grey, titanium white, and titanium silver.

Watch Ultra features a new dynamic lug system for attaching watch straps, which is intended to make it easier to change watch straps when needed. There are also new watch bands designed specifically to keep your wrist cool during intense activity. The Ultra is a heavy watch, weighing in at 60.5g, even heavier than the Watch 5 Pro.

The right side of the Galaxy Watch Ultra has three buttons, including a newly added quick button, which can be used to quickly start a workout or assign other functions, including activating an emergency siren if you're in trouble.
