Xiaomi introduced the Redmi K80 Pro and the Redmi K80 in China. The two models are intended for the local market only. They share the same design, footprint, display, front and main camera.

The display is a 6.67-inch OLED panel by TCL CSOT with a 1440 x 3200 px resolution. It supports a refresh rate of 120Hz and an instantaneous touch sampling rate of 2560 Hz. With a 12-bit color bit depth, the screen covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color space and with a local peak brightness of 3200 nits, it supports all major HDR standards - Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and HDR Vivid.

The main camera is a 50MP OmniVision OV50E or the so-called "Light Hunter 800" with a 6-element lens, an f/1.6 aperture, and OIS. It records 8K videos at 24 fps and 4K videos at 60 fps. The front camera uses a 20MP sensor and support FHD video recording at 60 fps.

The Redmi K80 Pro and Redmi K80 have a flat design with an aluminum alloy mid-frame with a Corning Gorilla Glass 7i for the display and a glass rear shell. The Redmi K80 Pro has a Champion Edition in Dark Gray and Green inspired by sports cars. Both models are IP68-rated for being resistant to water, dust, and dirt. They run on Xiaomy Hyper OS 2.0 with Bluetooth 5.4, Wi-Fi 7, and NFC support. Each model has stereo speakers, an IR blaster, a 3D ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, and a USB Type-C port.

Redmi K80 Pro is based on the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset working with an in-house-developed Xiaomi D1 display chipset. Its work is aided by a 5400 mm² dual-loop VC liquid cooling system. There are 12GB/16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB/512GB/1TB of UFS 4.0 storage to choose from. A 6000 mAh battery keeps the lights on supporting 120W fast charging and 50W wireless charging. The 50MP main camera is adjoined by a 50MP telephoto lens using the Samsung ISOCELL JN5 sensor and a 32MP ultra-wide unit with a 120-degree FoV. The model is priced as follows:

Redmi K80 is based on a Snapdragon Gen 3 chipset with the same 5400 mm² dual-loop VC liquid cooling system. It lacks the dedicated display chip found on the Pro version but offers the same RAM and storage options. The battery of the vanilla model is slightly larger at 6550 mAh but supports a slower charging - 90W without the option for wireless charging. Of course, just like in the Pro version, the battery is aided by the Xiaomi Surging P3 fast charging chip and the Xiaomi Surging G1 battery management chip. The main camera of the Redmi K80 is adjoined by an 8MP ultra-wide unit. The model is priced as follows:
